Packaging is significant to bring products to the consumer in a qualitative way. PACKCONTACT organizes a network event on innovations in collaboration with all partners in terms of food packaging.

Target audience

For anyone who comes into contact with packaging, in the areas of purchasing, logistics, production, R&D, marketing, sustainability policy, management from all sectors.


Due to the growing interest, the third edition of Packcontact had to move to a larger location. That is why you can visit PACKCONTACT 2020 on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24rd of September in the XPO halls in Kortrijk.

During PACKCONTACT, companies in the packaging industry present their latest innovations to an audience of food companies.

PACKCONTACT is an initiative of Packcontact, the POM West-Vlaanderen in collaboration with Pack4Food, Centexbel-VKC, Belgian Packaging Institute (BPI), Verpakking Centrum Hasselt, Alimento, Flanders' Food, Fevia, PlastiQ and TUA West. Within the operation of Fabrieken voor de Toekomst, this initiative is part of the cluster policy with which the Province of West Flanders wishes to support, strengthen and anchor the West Flemish industry.

Participation fee, registration and catering

  • Participation is possible for the following exhibitor: companies & non-commercial partners active in the packaging sector
  • The standard participation price (2 days) was set at € 1,500 (excl. 21% VAT) for companies.
  • Multiple modules, special promotion prices or adjustments can be obtained on request.
  • After registration, you will receive a Packcontact advance invoice. This invoice must be paid 14 days upon receipt. The balance must be paid no later than August 15th.
  • Non-commercial partners do not pay a rental price for a stand.
  • The closing date for registration is August 10th, 2020.
  • The exhibitor must use the stand space himself and cannot in any case sublet all or part of it or make it freely available to third parties without the prior authorization of the organizer.
  • The exhibitor must fill the stand space at his own expense. The layout of the stand space is completely free. Electricity, lighting and WIFI are provided. The organizer takes care of the necessary tables and chairs on your stand. Free parking is provided.
  • Catering on the stand for participants is included in the stand registration fee.


In order to have your logo included for the promotional actions, this must be digitally delivered in the correct versions both for printed matter and for the website:
  • For prints (poster, flyer): eps or CMYK (Quadri)
  • For website .png (preferred), .jpg or .gif

Stand surface

A standard stand has a surface of 9m², or 3m by 3m. Its width can be adjusted according to the material you bring for the active demos on your stand.

Stand assembly and dismantling

  • The stand is set up exclusively on Wednesday September 23rd between 8:00 am and 11:30 am.
  • The stand must be dismantled after the fair closes on Thursday September 24th between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the latest.
